The origin of children's peplum carrier

Yunnan. The Baigong carrier is a traditional child carrier that originated in southern China. It first appeared in some ethnic minority families in Yunnan Province for carrying infants and toddlers. This type of carrier is named for its special pattern of a hundred diamonds. The term "Bai Dian Dian" refers to patches with many different colors and patterns, i.e. colorful and variegated patterns.
