Design dimensions of garden round door

Is there a difference between an arched door and a square door? Aren't those all doors? Will the door affect Feng Shui?

The courtyards of ancient big houses are mostly arched doors, which are more beautiful and softer than square doors.

So if the arched door destroyed the geomantic omen, would the ancients still build such a door?
